01Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of Sportsinteraction (“we”, “us”, “our”). They apply whenever you visit this website, register for an account or use any sportsbook or casino service offered through it.

Please read these Terms carefully together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Responsible Gambling page, which form part of this agreement. Specific rules for individual games, markets or promotions also apply where they are published, and if they conflict with these Terms, the specific rules take precedence for that product.

By opening an account or using the services, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

Current service status. Real-money wagering is not currently available through this website. Sports prices, fixtures and casino titles shown on the site are indicative information only and are not an offer to accept a bet. Any attempt to place a bet or open a game returns a “not available in your region” notice. The rules below describe how the services operate when they are available.

02Definitions

In these Terms, the following words have the meanings given below:

  • Account — the single personal account you hold with us to use real-money services.
  • Bet — a wager on the outcome of a sporting event or market, including single bets and parlays.
  • Casino Game — any slot, table, jackpot or live dealer game offered through the website.
  • Event — a sporting match, race, tournament or other occurrence on which markets are offered.
  • Market — a specific type of bet available on an Event, such as moneyline, spread or total.
  • Odds or Price — the figure used to calculate the return on a Bet, displayed in decimal or American format.
  • Settlement — the process of deciding the result of a Bet and crediting any return to the Account.
  • Regulator — Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC).
  • Market Entity — Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC), which conducts and manages provincial online gaming in Alberta.
  • Player, you or your — the individual who uses the website or holds an Account.

04Alberta Jurisdiction

Our services are intended exclusively for people located in the Province of Alberta, Canada. Online gaming in Alberta is regulated under the iGaming Alberta Act, the Alberta iGaming Corporation Act, the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act and Regulation, and the AGLC Standards and Requirements for Internet Gaming.

The services are not offered to anyone outside Alberta. Nothing on this website is an offer, solicitation or invitation to gamble in any other province, territory or country, and you must not use the services where doing so is unlawful.

05Eligibility

To open an Account and use real-money services, you must:

  • be at least 18 years of age;
  • be physically present in Alberta each time you place a Bet or play a Casino Game;
  • be acting on your own behalf, using your own funds and payment methods;
  • not be self-excluded through us or any provincial self-exclusion program;
  • not be a person prohibited from gambling by law, court order or a decision of the Regulator;
  • not be an employee, director or contractor of the operator or its service providers where their role gives them access to information that could affect betting or game outcomes, or an immediate family member living with such a person;
  • not be a participant, coach, official or other person able to influence the outcome of an Event on which you bet.

We may ask you to confirm your eligibility at any time. If you are not eligible, we may close the Account and void any Bets or game play, returning deposited funds where the law allows.

06Minimum Age

18+ only. It is an offence for anyone under 18 to gamble online in Alberta. We verify the age of every Account holder before real-money play.

If we find that an Account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it immediately, void all Bets and game play, and return deposits to the original payment method, less any amounts already withdrawn. Winnings will not be paid. We may report the matter to the Regulator.

If you share a device with young people, we recommend using parental-control software and never leaving your Account signed in.

07Account Registration

You may hold only one Account. To register, you must provide accurate, complete and current information, including your full legal name, date of birth, residential address in Alberta and email address, and keep it up to date. Duplicate Accounts will be closed, and Bets placed through them may be voided.

Your Account is personal and non-transferable. You must not allow anyone else to use it, sell or lend it, or use another person’s Account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out with your sign-in details. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may refuse an application or decline to open an Account at our discretion, including where we cannot verify the information you provide.

08Identity Verification

We are required by the Regulator and by federal anti-money laundering law to verify your identity, age and address. We may do this electronically through a verification provider, and we may ask you to provide documents such as government-issued photo identification, proof of address or proof of ownership of a payment method.

Until verification is complete, we may restrict deposits, play or withdrawals. If you do not provide requested documents within a reasonable time, or if the information cannot be verified, we may suspend or close the Account. We may repeat verification at any time, for example when your details change or when we are required to apply enhanced checks.

Providing false information or forged documents is a serious breach of these Terms and may be reported to the authorities.

09Geolocation Requirements

Before any real-money Bet is accepted or Casino Game is opened, your location must be confirmed as inside Alberta. Checks are performed by a geolocation provider and may be repeated during a session. You may need to allow location access on your device or install a small location helper.

If your location cannot be confirmed, or you are found to be outside the province, real-money services will be blocked until a successful check. You must not use VPNs, proxies, remote desktop tools, location spoofing or any other method to disguise your location. Bets and game play made from outside Alberta, or while disguising your location, may be voided and the Account may be suspended.

10Deposits

All Accounts are held and all transactions are processed in Canadian dollars (CAD). You may only deposit using payment methods registered in your own name. Third-party deposits are not permitted and may be returned or voided.

Payment methods we expect to support include Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, iDebit, Paysafecard, Apple Pay, subject to availability in Alberta and to verification of your Account. Minimum and maximum deposit amounts, any fees charged by us and processing times are shown in the cashier when the service is available. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own fees or restrictions, which are outside our control.

Deposits are intended for gaming. We may ask about the source of funds and may refuse or reverse a deposit where we suspect fraud, money laundering or a breach of these Terms. Chargebacks or reversals initiated without good reason may result in Account suspension and recovery of the amounts concerned.

11Withdrawals

You may request a withdrawal of your available balance at any time, subject to completed identity verification. Withdrawals are paid in CAD and, where possible, to the same payment method used to deposit, up to the amount deposited by that method; any remaining balance is paid to another verified method in your name. Some methods, such as prepaid vouchers and certain mobile wallets, cannot receive withdrawals.

Minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts and processing times are shown in the cashier when the service is available. Withdrawals may be delayed while we carry out security, verification or anti-money laundering checks, and we may ask for additional documents before releasing funds.

We may withhold or reverse a withdrawal where Bets or game play are under investigation, where the funds result from an error, fraud or a breach of these Terms, or where the law requires us to do so.

12Sports Betting

The following rules apply to all sports Bets. Detailed rules for individual sports may also be published and form part of these Terms.

Bet acceptance

A Bet is only valid once it has been accepted by our system and confirmed in your Account with a unique reference. We may decline any Bet, in full or in part, or limit the stake, at our discretion. A Bet cannot be cancelled or changed by you once it has been accepted. Odds shown on the site may change at any time before acceptance; the odds applicable are those confirmed on the bet receipt.

Settlement

Bets are settled on the official result declared by the relevant governing body or competition organiser at the end of the Event, unless market rules say otherwise. Subsequent changes, such as disqualifications or appeals after the official result, do not affect settlement. Unless stated otherwise, markets are settled on regulation time, including stoppage or injury time but excluding overtime, extra time and shoot-outs.

Void and cancelled bets

A void Bet is treated as if it had never been placed, and the stake is returned. In a parlay, a void selection is removed and the parlay is recalculated on the remaining selections. Bets may be voided where an Event is cancelled, where a market is offered in error, where a Bet is accepted after the Event has started (except in-play markets), or where these Terms are breached.

Palpable errors

If a Bet is accepted at a price, line or market that is clearly wrong — for example, odds that are materially different from those available in the general market, a reversed line, or an incorrect participant — we may settle the Bet at the correct price at the time it was placed or, where that is not possible, void it. We will act fairly and promptly, and the decision will be recorded so that it can be reviewed in a dispute.

Abandoned and postponed events

If an Event is abandoned or postponed and not completed within 24 hours of its original scheduled start time, unsettled Bets are void, unless sport-specific rules provide otherwise. Bets on markets that have already been unconditionally determined at the time of abandonment stand.

Dead heat

Where two or more participants tie for a position, dead heat rules apply: the stake is divided by the number of tied participants, and the return is calculated at full odds on that portion of the stake; the remainder is lost.

Current availability

Real-money sports betting is not currently available through this website. Odds and fixtures displayed are indicative only and do not constitute an offer, and an attempt to add a selection or place a Bet shows a “not available in your region” notice.

13Live Betting

Live (in-play) betting allows Bets to be placed while an Event is in progress. Because conditions change quickly, the following additional rules apply:

  • Price changes. Odds and lines move continuously. If the price changes between selection and confirmation, you will be asked to accept the new price before the Bet is placed.
  • Acceptance delays. A short delay may be applied before a live Bet is accepted to protect against bets placed with knowledge of an outcome that has already happened. If a significant incident occurs during the delay, the Bet may be rejected.
  • Suspended markets. Markets may be suspended at any time, for example after a goal, penalty, injury, video review or loss of the data feed. No Bets are accepted while a market is suspended.
  • Data and scores. Live scores, clocks and statistics are provided for information only and may be delayed or inaccurate. Settlement is based on the official result, not on information shown on the site.
  • Late bets. Bets accepted after the outcome of the market was known, or at a price that did not reflect an incident that had already occurred, may be voided.

Live betting is not currently available through this website; live prices shown are indicative only.

14Betting Markets

The main markets offered, and how they are settled, are:

  • Moneyline — a Bet on which participant will win. In sports where a draw is possible, a separate three-way market may be offered.
  • Spread (point spread, puck line, run line) — a handicap is applied to one participant’s score before the result is calculated. If the adjusted result is a tie on a whole-number line, the Bet is void (a “push”).
  • Totals (over/under) — a Bet on whether the combined score will be above or below a stated figure. If the total lands exactly on a whole-number line, the Bet is void.
  • Parlays — a single Bet combining two or more selections, all of which must win. Related selections whose outcomes depend on each other may not be combined. Void selections are removed as described in Sports Betting.
  • Props and futures — Bets on specific occurrences within an Event or on long-term outcomes such as a championship winner, settled according to the rules shown with each market.

Market-specific rules shown on the bet slip or market page apply in addition to these general descriptions. Any maximum payout that applies to a Bet will be shown before the Bet is placed.

15Casino Games

Casino Games are supplied by third-party game providers. Outcomes in slots and digital table games are determined by a certified random number generator (RNG), and each game’s rules, return-to-player information and paytable are available within the game.

Malfunction

Malfunction voids all pays and plays. If a game or system fails, any affected round is void. Where a round is interrupted by a lost connection, it will be completed or restored when you reconnect where the game allows; otherwise the stake is returned. Game records held by the provider are the definitive record of play.

Live dealer games

Live dealer tables are streamed from professional studios. Bets must be placed before the dealer closes betting; late bets are not accepted. If a dealer error occurs, such as a misdealt card, the round is handled according to the table rules shown in the game, which may include voiding the round. Chat must be respectful and may be moderated or disabled.

Casino Games are not currently available for real-money play through this website. Opening a game shows a “not available in your region” notice.

16Promotions

No promotions or bonuses are currently offered through this website. If we introduce a promotion in the future, it will be available only with its own published terms, which will state eligibility, any wagering requirements, time limits, eligible games or markets and how the promotion can be withdrawn.

Promotions will never be offered to self-excluded players or to anyone under 18, and they will follow the Regulator’s advertising and inducement standards. We may withdraw a promotion or its benefits where there is evidence of abuse, multiple Accounts or a breach of the promotion terms.

17Responsible Gambling

Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to make money. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose. When available, your Account will offer tools to help you stay in control, including deposit limits, loss limits, wager limits, session time limits, reality checks, cooling-off breaks and self-exclusion. Reductions to limits take effect immediately; increases take effect only after a waiting period.

We monitor accounts for signs of gambling-related harm and may contact you, recommend tools, or restrict your Account where we believe it is necessary. Free, confidential support is available in Alberta:

  • GameSense Alberta — Free, confidential information about gambling and its risks. 1-833-447-7523
  • Alberta Health Services — Addiction and Mental Health — Addiction Helpline, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 1-866-332-2322
  • 211 Alberta — Connects you to community, social and health services. 211

18Self-Exclusion

You can ask us to exclude you from all gambling services for a chosen period. During self-exclusion your Account is closed to play and deposits, any remaining balance is returned to you, and you will not receive marketing. A self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the end of the chosen period. When the period ends, the Account remains closed until you ask for it to be reopened, and we may apply a cooling-off period and additional checks.

You may also enrol in the AGLC Voluntary Self-Exclusion program, which applies across provincially regulated gaming in Alberta. Where we are notified of your enrolment, we will apply it to your Account. Information about the program is available from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) and GameSense Alberta.

You must not try to open a new Account or use another person’s Account while self-excluded. If you do, we will close the Account, and any Bets or game play may be voided. We take reasonable steps to enforce self-exclusion, but you also share responsibility for keeping to it.

19Account Restrictions

We may suspend, restrict or close your Account, with or without notice, where:

  • you breach these Terms or any product rules;
  • we cannot verify your identity, age, address or location;
  • we suspect fraud, cheating, collusion, money laundering or match-fixing;
  • we are required to by law, the Regulator or the Market Entity;
  • we have responsible gambling concerns;
  • you behave abusively towards our staff or other players.

You may close your Account at any time by contacting support. On closure, any available balance not subject to investigation will be returned to you after verification. Funds held in an Account that remains inactive for an extended period will be handled as required by the Regulator; we will try to contact you before any change is made.

20Anti-Money Laundering

We comply with the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and its regulations. This means we must verify identity, keep records of transactions, monitor accounts for unusual activity, screen against sanctions lists and report certain transactions and any suspicious activity to the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC).

You must not use your Account to transfer, conceal or launder money, or to fund any unlawful activity. We may ask you for information about the source of your funds or wealth and may delay, refuse or reverse transactions, or freeze an Account, where we are required to by law. We are not permitted to tell you if a report has been made about you.

21Fraud Prevention

We use automated and manual checks to protect players and the integrity of betting and games. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • using stolen or unauthorised payment methods, or making unjustified chargebacks;
  • opening multiple Accounts or acting in collusion with other players;
  • using bots, scripts, software or devices to gain an unfair advantage;
  • exploiting software faults, errors or palpable prices;
  • betting on an Event you can influence or using inside information;
  • disguising your identity or location.

Where we reasonably believe fraud has occurred, we may void affected Bets and game play, withhold winnings, close the Account, recover losses and share information with the Regulator, law enforcement, payment providers and sports integrity bodies.

22Privacy

We collect and use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the Alberta Personal Information Protection Act and applicable federal law. This includes information required for identity verification, geolocation, payments, betting and game records and responsible gambling.

By using the services, you acknowledge that we must share certain information with service providers, the Regulator, the Market Entity and FINTRAC as described in that policy. Our use of cookies is explained in the Cookie Policy.

23Liability

We provide the website and services with reasonable care and skill, but we do not promise that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from:

  • technical failures, interruptions or delays outside our reasonable control, including internet or power outages;
  • errors in information provided by third parties, such as live scores or statistics;
  • your use of the services in breach of these Terms or the law;
  • unauthorised use of your Account caused by your failure to keep your sign-in details secure;
  • indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit or opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be excluded under the laws of Alberta or Canada, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

24Intellectual Property

The Sportsinteraction name, logo, website design, text, graphics and software are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Casino Games, game artwork and live studio content belong to their respective providers. League and team names are used for identification only and do not imply endorsement.

You may view the website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, reproduce, scrape, frame, modify or distribute any part of it, or use our name or logo, without our prior written permission.

25Dispute Resolution

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, including the settlement of a Bet or the outcome of a game round, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact support. Email support@sportsiteraction.slonik.store or use the contact form with your Account details, the bet or game reference, the date and time, and a clear description of the issue. Please raise a complaint as soon as possible after the event.
  2. Escalation. If support cannot resolve the matter, ask for it to be escalated. A senior member of our team who was not involved in the original decision will review it and give you a written final response.
  3. Regulator. If you are still not satisfied after our final response, you may refer the complaint to Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC), which oversees regulated gaming in Alberta.

During a dispute, the records held by our systems and by game and data providers are used to establish what happened. Using this process does not affect your right to take legal action.

26Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. Subject to the dispute resolution process above, the courts of Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the services.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

27Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the law, regulatory requirements or our services. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised.

If we make material changes, we will notify Account holders by email or an in-account notice before the changes take effect and may ask you to accept the updated Terms before continuing to play. If you do not accept the changes, you may close your Account and withdraw your available balance. Bets accepted before a change are settled under the Terms in force when they were placed.
